Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Zafar Ali Shah on Thursday left his party and joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

PTI chairman Imran Khan welcomed him who left the PML-N and joined his party and said that the time will prove his decision to join PTI was right.

The PTI chairman while addressing the party workers along with Zafar Ali Shah said that the parliament has failed during the last five years, adding that there was an understanding between the government and the opposition.

“All PML-N leaders knew everything about the London flats,” he said and added the issue of Panama should have been resolved in the parliament but they were forced to take it to the streets.

Criticizing National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) decision, Khan said that we ourselves are making Pakistan a banana republic, adding that there needs to be supremacy of law in the country.

“The decision not to arrest candidates before upcoming general elections is beyond understanding,” he added.

The PTI chairman went on to say that the money laundering was the reason behind decline of Pakistani rupee against dollar.
