Forbes’, a well-known American business magazine, ranks the current billionaires worldwide each year and adds new ones to the list based on their net worth.

Forbes’ World’s Billionaires list for 2024 was just revealed and this year, the 25 youngest people on it are worth $110 billion altogether.

However, a few of them are self-made, with notable companies like Snapchat, Gymshark and Oculus VR.

So let’s meet six if these young geniuses who have self-made themselves into billionaires.

Evan Spiegel, 33, is a French-American businessman and CEO of Snap Inc, the company behind popular social media app, Snapchat.

He co-founded Snapchat with his fraternity brothers Bobby Murphy and Reggie Brown in 2011 after dropping out of Stanford University and became a billionaire by the age of 25.

Spiegel, whose net worth is $3.1 billion, owns about a quarter of publicly traded Snap Inc with Murphy, 35, which generated $4.6 billion in revenue last year.

John Collision, 33, and his brother Patrick, 35, sold their first startup, Auctomatic — an eBay management software which they formed with brothers Harj and Kulveer Taggar — for $5 million in 2007, when John was in secondary school.

After enrolling and dropping out of Harvard, John with his brother founded Stripe, a payment software whose investors have included Fidelity and Ireland’s sovereign development fund.

In 2016, $9.2 billion funding round made him the world’s then-youngest self-made billionaire at 26. His current net worth is $7.2 billion.
