Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa Tuesday reached Quetta to meet notables of Hazara community, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor.
“COAS arrived at Quetta for an update on security situation and meeting with notables of Hazara Community,” tweeted ISPR DG.
Earlier on Monday night, Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal visited a protest camp against the killing of the members of Hazara community outside the Balochistan Assembly. The protesters, however, refused to end their protest until the army chief visited them.
