Section 188
The incident of Bir (Well) of Moanna & campaign of Bani Nazar
We were mentioning the incident of Raji. And now without help, which was
the result of the worst hatred of the Najd against Islam, while the other was
the manifestation of the hatred of the Jews, let us close at the beginning the
two strange events that happened during this war and it led to the conversion
of an enemy tribe to Islam while the truth was also revealed to the other tribe.
Therefore, I consider it necessary to describe these two incidents first. Among
the two surprising ones, the first one is the conversion of Banu Saleem chief
Salmi to Islam. What Ibn Ishaq (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated on
the authority of his grandson Ja'far, he wrote: He said: "My grandfather used
to say that I have placed one of these truths between the two shoulders of a
person, as well as the Amara, instead of reaching them." And they said to run,
God! I realized that I was very worried that my period was not fatal. But when
it dawned on me that the intention was to be martyred, my heart came to
believe in the authenticity of Islam. After that he became a Muslim. The
narrator of the second incident is the unfortunate Amr bin Tufail, who was the
enemy of Islam and also he was the root cause of this unrest. He was the one
who had already sent his message to the Prophet (PBUH) that you should not
visit this area. That if you are from Ahl al-Sahl, then I am from Ahl al-Madar, so
if you make me your caliph by without any force, then make me, otherwise I
will fight against you for the rest of my life. And despite this enmity, this
expression of his is another living proof of the truthfulness of Islam, because
friends always praise, but if the enemy praises, then the matter is different.
Ibn Ishaq (may Allah be pleased with him) goes ahead and says that he heard
from Ibn Hisham (may Allah be pleased with him) bin Arwa that after the
battle, Amr bin Tufail asked the people if a person's body could be lifted from
the ground and beyond the limit of sight. Did any of you see it on the way? A
man said, "Yes, that body was that of Amir (RA) bin Fahira." And where are
these two? The events that took place were the battle of beer , Muanaa, in

It is like this, that there was animosity between Banu Umayyah and Banu Abd
al-Muttalib, similar issue was there between the people of Hijaz, including the
Quraysh and people of Najd. And these tribes were suffering from their ethnic
superiority. Therefore, Islam had not fully reached Najd yet. Abu Al-Bara' who
was their neighbor came to Medina, so the Holy Prophet (PBUH) took
advantage of this opportunity to invite him to Islam, but he did not accept
Islam despite showing a soft corner for Islam. But he said that Islam has
reached our area but the people are not fully aware yet, so please send some
people with me, I will take responsibility for them to preach Islam in my
vicinity and that area too. This will led the enlightenment of entire region with
the teachings of Islam. Therefore, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) sent 40
companions, according to some traditions, 70 companions under the
leadership of Hazrat Munzar (RA) bin Amr.
