Chapter (63)
The family of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Sheeb Abi Talib
Dear readers during last section we discussed that at that all the efforts of Qureysh to deceive King of Habsha against the Muslims became ineffective. They were kicked out of the court with utter humiliation. Now let’s see what was going on at Makaah. The Qureysh became an arch enemy of all the companions, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), his family members & his uncle Hazrat Abu Talib (RA). Their misdeed has reached its height. So a unanimous decision was taken that all the people among the Muslims including children’s will gather at one place so that it will be easy to defend themselves. They can also gather the essentials of livelihood from other places as the tribe of Qureysh has completely boycotted them. They had made an accord that anyone among the descendants of Abdul Muttalib who has accepted the faith of Muhammad (PBUH) will be completely boycotted by the society of Makkah. They will not able to participate in any social affairs of the society & no one among the Qureysh will reciprocate for them. This accord was fixed on the wall of Kaaba. Even the exchange of essential commodities with them was stopped. The new relations of matrimonial alliances were stopped & even the old matrimonial alliances were severed. Abu Lahab ordered his son to divorce all the wives who came from the descendants of Abdul Muttalib. One of the main points that were drafted by them was regarding the Islam. They put forward the condition that up to the time when Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) & his followers will not accept their ancestral religion, these sanctions will not be lifted. No one will do the business with them, any sort of matrimonial alliance will be severed, & even the exchange of essential commodities will remain closed. And no one from the community of Qureysh will accept their faith. This was plan of infidels but the master plan was made by the Almighty Allah. Except for few of them most of these people from the tribe of Qureysh later accepted Islam. Even some of them when accepted the faith of Islam, they also took the control of the power. Their hearts are so miser & disgraced that at the place of Sheeb Abi Talib when the infants cried due to the thirst & appetite, their moaning reached to the distance places but they didn’t have any apathy to these infants. They used to guard the location of Sheeb Abi Talib so that any essential commodities would not reach to these Muslims. One day when the nephew of Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra (RA) Hakim Bin Jazaam brought the food of her aunt in Sheeb Abi Talib, the arch enemy Abu Lahab sighted him on the way. He went there & tried to stop him. He also threated him to use the force if he didn’t agree on his terms. By chance one of his relatives who used to be his uncle in relation came on this moment. His name was Abul Khair bin Harith. When he saw the heated argument, he enquired about the issue. Hakim told that I am taking the food for my aunt Hazrat Khadija Kubra (RA) but Abu Jahl forced me to return back. He tried to convince Abu Jahal but he was adamant that he would not allow passing any food or water in Sheeb Abi Talib. This valley is located in Makkah Mount Abu Qubais in North & Mount Abyad in South.
