Chapter (73)
The journey to the next world on eve of Miraj & compulsion of Salah (Nazam) as mandatory act of worship
During last section we were discussing about the entry of Prophet (PBUH) in heaven along with arch angel Gabriel. We concluded our section that Prophet (PBUH) had travelled to Makkah to Baitul Muqaddas by the mean of Burraq & special mean was used to travel in the skies. This was a unique privilege given to him among the Prophets (Peace be Upon them). We will continue our article with the narration received from Ibn Ishaq. It came like that Prophet (PBUH) said that from here Hazrat Gabriel took to the skies & here I was introduced to the group of angels. Most of them welcomed me with warmth with smiles in their gestures. But one of them didn’t greet me with such warmth. I enquired about this from Hazrat Gabriel, and then he told me that he is one of the main in charge for the hell. It was due to the work assigned to him that makes him quite sincere. None of us had ever seen any smiles on his face. Then Prophet (PBUH) asked Gabriel to saw the hell. On this Gabriel asked that angel to show the perspective of hell. On listening this request, he opened the door of the hell. I saw that his size got increased in a manner that it appears to cover all the things that he was showing it me. Prophet (PBUH) again said to Gabriel to ask this angel to return in his original place. On asking, he again took his original place & then close the cover of the hell. During this journey what Prophet (PBUH) had sighted & then explained to the companions, there are innumerable Hadith present on it. If we try to explain these hadith, a complete separate book will be formed. We are leaving those details for the readers to explore from different Hadith so that they will took inspiration from this & try to improve their situation for the coming world. Now we will move further by revisiting the narration received from Hazrat Abu Saeed (RA). Prophet (PBUH) said that when I entered in the first level of the skies, I was blessed sighting Prophet Adam (PBUH). I saw that souls of the descendants of Adam (PBUH) were presented to him. On some pious souls, he became happy while sighting the souls of wicked deceased, he got upset. Whenever the soul of the believer visited him, he got happy & on the visit of infidel souls, he used to spit & said that this filthy soul came from that filthy body.
