North-East Frontier Railway tweeted by saying that if trains are operated during the storm, then there is a possibility of anything untoward. Therefore, a decision has been taken to cancel these trains
Apart from this, the railway has also canceled special train number 02255 from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus to Kamakhya due to the Yaas Cyclone. At the same time, special train number 02256 returning from Kamakhya to Lokmanya Tilak Terminus has also been canceled. This train was scheduled from Kamakhya on 29 May. At the same time, Guwahati-Yashwantwur Junction Special Express Number 06578 has been completely canceled till further orders. Also, Guwahati-Sikandabad Junction Train No. 07029, Agartala-Bengaluru Cantt Special Train No. 02516, Bengaluru Cantt-Agartala Special Mail No. 02515, and Parcel Express Special Train No. 00779 from Guwahati to Katcheguda have also been completely canceled.
