Anthony Joshua stopped Wladimir Klitschko in the 11th round at Wembley to add the WBA heavyweight title to his IBF belt.

The Brit landed a huge uppercut in the early stages of the penultimate stanza and the Ukrainian beat the count, but never recovered.

He was knocked down once more later in the round before the referee called a stop to the bout.

After an even opening four rounds, Joshua came out with a barrage of punches in the fifth and floored Klitschko.

Klitschko came back strong in the fifth and dominated the sixth, putting Joshua on the canvas.

But Joshua weathered the storm and regrouped in the next four rounds, before the dramatic 11th.

Two knockdowns were followed with another group of big shots when the referee waved off the scrap.

In the aftermath of the fight, Joshua said: “What can I say? First and foremost, 19-0, three and a half years in the game. I’m not perfect, but I’m trying.
