At least 20 people have been reported killed and dozens injured following a shooting incident at a Baptist church in the US state of Texas on Sunday, news media reported. The shooter was reported killed.
The shooting took place at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, southeast of San Antonio, reports said.
A County Commissioner in Texas said he’s been told that more than 20 people were killed and more than 20 were wounded in an attack at a church, though he says those figures haven’t been confirmed.
They said the shooter walked into the church shortly before noon and opened fire. A two-year-old was among the wounded, the Dallas Morning News website reported.
US President Donald Trump, who is currently in Japan, expressed his grief over the incident.
