Former president and army chief General (r) Pervez Musharraf has decided to return to Pakistan from Dubai while a court permitted Ministry of Interior to revoke National Identity Card (NIC) and passport of the former dictator.
Sources reported that the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Defence received formal requests from Musharraf on March 13 seeking provision of security. General (r) Musharraf had flown out of Pakistan earlier citing medical treatment.
Reportedly, Pakistani authorities are reviewing the plea forwarded by Musharraf.
