Daylight saving time (DST) in the UK means the clocks are changed twice a year to make better use of daylight.

⏰ How it works:
In spring (usually late March), clocks go forward by 1 hour
→ This is called British Summer Time (BST)
In autumn (usually late October), clocks go back by 1 hour
→ The UK returns to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
📍 In the United Kingdom:
DST starts: Last Sunday in March
DST ends: Last Sunday in October
💡 Example:
At 1:00 AM GMT → clocks move forward to 2:00 AM BST (spring)
At 2:00 AM BST → clocks move back to 1:00 AM GMT (autumn)

This change gives longer daylight in the evenings during summer 🌇
