The repatriation of Pakistanis stranded in Iran continued for the seventh consecutive day on Saturday as more citizens returned to the country through the border crossing in Gwadar.
According to Deputy Commissioner Naqeebullah Kakar, a total of 53 people crossed into Pakistan through the Gabd-Rimdan Border Crossing on the seventh day of the operation. Among them were 15 students.
Officials said that the group also included foreign nationals, comprising five citizens of South Africa, two from Iran and one from Oman.
Authorities confirmed that over the past seven days, a total of 853 individuals—including 300 students—have entered Pakistan through the Gabd Ramdan border as part of the ongoing repatriation process.
Local administration and border officials are facilitating the returning citizens by providing assistance and ensuring smooth entry procedures as the operation continues.
