Section: 128
The Departure of Prophet (PBUH) to Badr & his stay
During last section we reached up to the point that the Prophet (PBUH) reached up to the point of Wadi Dhafran & halted there. He already dispatched two companions for getting updates regarding the movement of Qureysh. At this point, the news came in that the armed troops of Qureysh had started from Makkah in order to secure the passage of their caravan coming from Syria. At this time, first Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) stood in the front of companions & gave an exciting speech. After him, Hazrat Umar (RA) & he also raised the confidence of companions. Then Hazrat Miqdad bin Umar (RA) stood up & asked by addressing Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), O Prophet (PBUH), please give your orders, we will comply. We will not say like the community of Hazrat Musa (Moses, PBUH), Go Moses for the war, you & your lord would go for the war. We will not stay behind. On the contrary, we will say, that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) & our Almighty Allah are with us in this war. We will go & fight for the orders till the last moment of our life. We swear in the name of Almighty Allah who created us, O dear Prophet (PBUH), even if you ask us to reach till the last location in Yemen. We will wait there till you reach or send any orders. On listening this, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) eulogized him & made supplications for him. Again Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) addressed the companions & asked O people, please gave me advice & suggest me what to do? In fact, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was addressing towards the Ansars of Madinah Al Munawwara. As during the time of the pledge of Aqabah, that when you will reach in our locality, then onwards, all the responsibility will be ours. We will protect you in the same way as we protect our kids, & females. In this context, there was a point in the mind of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) that might be Ansars will think that their responsibility will be counted when Qureysh will attack Madinah Al Munawwara. And in the case when there was a chance of the battle outside the boundaries of the city, they might not participate. When Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) asked second time, Hazrat Saad bin Muad (RA) who was among the leaders of Aws tribe stood up & said, O Prophet of Allah, do you want address us in this call? On this, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, Yes Saad, “I am addressing towards you”.
Hazrat Saad bin Muad (RA), replied, O Messenger of Allah, we had accepted Islam & had belief on you.
