The people who accepted Islam after general invitation & acceptance of Islam by Hazrat Hamza (RA)

Dear friends in last section we discussed about the chronology of the Prophet (PBUH) companions who reverted to Islam. We finished our article up to the acceptance of Islam by Hazrat Amir Hamza (RA). Now in this article we will cover the details regarding the acceptance of Islam by Hazrat Amir Hamza (RA). The incident was reported like this that one day Prophet (PBUH) faced Abu Jahal & he started to curse Prophet (PBUH). Even he started to say bad words towards Islam. On this moment of time, Hazrat Hamza (RA) came in & he stuck on the head of Abu Jahal with his bow. On this attack, he got irritated. Few of the people from the tribe of Makhzum were present; they immediately asked Amir Hamza (RA) that did you also accept Islam. On listening this Hazrat Hamza (RA) said if I would say like this that Muhammad (PBUH) is a Prophet of God & whatever he said is the words of truth. If any one of you dares to stop me than you can make your efforts. No one can stop me. At this time Abu Jahal intervened & he said to these people to leave the matter. He further said that I had also beaten his nephew & verbally abused him. After acceptance of Islam by Hazrat Hamza (RA), the small community of Muslims became happy & there was general elation among them. He also said few verses in Arabic at this moment. Though the details of these verses are not available but one of the verses is still available “Raud Al Anaf”. The translation is as follows:
“I offered my thanks to Almighty Allah at the time when he gave me a blessed chance to accept the Islam”.
There is one more narrative that when he was returning back to his home after accepting Islam, the Satan tried to deceive him that you are one of the leading leaders of Qureysh tribe. Instead of protecting the faith of your ancestors you accepted the faith of Islam & followed your nephew. How people of your tribe will remember you? But there is a promise of Almighty Allah to protect the pious from Satan. So he immediately made supplication, O God, if Muhammad (PBUH) & his message is true then clean my heart with these doubts. Show me the guidance for the true path. After this supplication his heart comes to peace & he took rest at his home. Next day he came face to face with Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and said, O Ibn Umm, I had some doubts coming in my mind towards your religion so I want to listen about it from you. I would be a great pleasure for me to listen about Islam from you. On his insistence, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) described some attributes of Islam. It makes a great impact on heart of Hazrat Hamza (RA) & immediately he started to recite “Kalima”. This was a unique moment in history of world. An uncle was sitting in front of his nephew & giving a testimony for a new faith. This was a rare privilege only given to the last Prophet (PBU). Then he said to his nephew, O Muhammad (PBUH) from now on start to preach about Islam in public. If God wills, you will always found me among your followers. Then for his entire life, he devoted himself for the cause of Islam. Then the moment came in the battle of Uhad when he sacrificed his life for the cause of Islam. People know about four uncles of Prophet (PBUH) & each one of them had played a different role. At one side, there was Abu Lahab who was an arch enemy of Islam. Surah Tabbat Yada in Quran was revealed in which he was cursed. Second one is Hazrat Abu Talib who took all the pains but didn’t allow anyone to harm his nephew. Then there was Hazrat Hamza who gave his life for Islam. Then the fourth one was Hazrat Abbas (RA) who accepted Islam. His son Ibn Abbas (RA) requested the Prophet (PBUH) to supplicate for the knowledge & it was accepted. Hazrat Abbas (RA) remained alive even after the passing of Prophet (PBUH) & one during the famine, Hazrat Umar (RA) asks him to supplicate.
