Former Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) ticket holder Babar Sohail Butt was gunned down in the wee hours of Monday near Lakhodair area of Manawan in Lahore.
According to police, Babar’s gunman could be involved in his assassination.
Gunman identified as Atif, allowed the assailants to enter into Babar’s residence by opening the door, said police.
The deceased body has been shifted to hospital for autopsy.
Family members and a large number of party workers and have gathered outside the hospital.
