HESCO has claimed to control power breakdown across Sindh including Karachi, as the Spokesperson to HESCO said that the electricity supply in Southern region was affected due to power tripping,
According to HESCO Spokesperson, 97 percent rural areas were affected due to breakdown, while load shedding did not occur in 85 percent urban areas. According to the spokesperson the faults in Jamshoro and HESCO were under control within two hours, after which all grid stations were being provided electricity in phases and all the affected areas will be soon operational.
It must be pertinent to mention that last night the electricity provision was suspended in Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Mirpur Khas 14 divisions, Dadu, Thatta, Badin, Jamshoro, Tando Mohammed Khan including Karachi.
