Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar on Friday took suo moto notice of Axact fake degree scandal.
The court has directed director general of the Federal Investigation Agency to submit a report on the matter within 10 days. It has also ordered to set the Axact scandal suo moto notice for hearing.
The CJP remarked that those smearing the name of Pakistan will not be spare in any case. “Our heads hang in shame due to Axact scandal,” he said.
The CJP directed DG FIA to find out about the fake degree campaign. “The scandal has maligned Pakistan globally. Cases pertaining to it are pending in the courts. DG FIA should submit a detailed report of the case,” he asserted.
