Cloth worth millions of rupees were reduced to ashes when the fire broke out in New Karachi Industrial Area on Wednesday night.

As many as 15 fire engines including a snorkel extinguished the fire after hectic efforts.Fire personnel rushed to the scene of a fire that broke out at a yarn factory in Karachi’s Industrial Area. Fire trucks and snorkels were called from across the city to the factory to extinguish the blaze which was raging on.

According to officials, an emergency was declared at Sakhi Hasan and Nipa hydrants to allow the uninterrupted supply of water to fire tenders.Yarn, Clothes and spare parts worth millions of rupees became ashes which were stocked in the factory.
