Section 168

During last section we finished to the point where Amru bin Abdullah
Hajmi was imprisoned. He was given a chance to accept the Islam. But
this time again he came to his words; at first he denied that my
agreement with Muhammad (PBUH) was that I would not raise a sword
against him. He accepted the alternative solution and lure. They told
him that it is right that you have vowed not to fight. But you can help us
with your influence and language. So you help us through your speech
and poems, even if you get killed in this effort, we will help you and your
family members and feed your daughters and your family members
what we ourselves would eat. So he reached among the tribe of Kanana
and started inciting them with his poems. Apart from that, another poet
named Musafa ibn Abd Manaf arrived there for this adventure and he

also started inciting people's feelings against the Holy Prophet
Muhammad (PBUH) with his poems, in the same way towards all the
other tribes. People were sent, and an atmosphere of war was created.
Among them was a person named Wahashi, who was the slave of Jubayr
bin Moattam. Jubayr said to him, "If you kill Muhammad's (PBUH) uncle
Hamzah for the revenge of my uncle Tomah bin Adi, then I will set you
free." He was a master of his art; he made and threw a spear like other
Abyssinians, which usually didn’t miss his target. So he also joined.
Because by the way Hazrat Hamza (R.A.) used to go to those warriors
who were considered invincible but this weapon was thrown from a
distance. Apart from that, those Quraysh women also joined and their
leadership was in the hands of Hind bint Uqba and she had sworn that
she would eat the raw liver of Hazrat Hamza (RA). Bani Tahama also
escorted their women on the camel dorsers so that if there was any high
or low in the battle, they would bring honor. We are presenting here the
names of other women of Qureysh. Umm Hakeem bint Harith, Fatimah
bint Waleed, Barzah bint Masoud among them Barzah was mentioned as
the mother of Abdullah bin Safwan bin Ummaya. While some historians
claimed that her name was Ruqayya. May God knows better.

Ibn Ishaq (RA) has added some more names, they are: Rita bint Muniba,
Salafah bin Saad, his sons were killed in the Battle of Badr, including
Khunas bint Malik and Umra bint Alqamah. When the Holy Prophet
Muhammad (PBUH) heard about the preparations of the Qureysh, he
called a council, for consultation and also discussed his dream with
companions. He said, "By God, I have seen a strange dream, the end of
which is good, I saw cows and that a dent has been formed on my
sword. I also saw that I had inserted my own had into a strong armor.
And then Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, that I think this point
towards Madinah. "But the narration from Ibn Hisham (RA) is different,
but he did not mention the name of any narrator, rather he said that he
received this narration from the people of knowledge. History is silent
on who those scholars were, however, we also offer them to the
audience. He says that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that
the cows and bulls which are slaughtered in the dream pointed towards
the martyrdom of my beloved companions. On the other, the dent on my
sword pointed towards the martyrdom of someone from my family.
