Dear Mr. Prime Minister,
AOA,
I submit my humble request as under:
In August 2014, I watched your sincere and strenuous efforts in the shape of Sit-in before the Parliament with a slogan *New Pakistan*. In the early days of your protests on various occasion, I could not understand this term and later I made myself to know with the meaning, New Pakistan means *Pakistan in a new shape with solidarity and betterment for the rights of people and institutions, captured by the politicians and the governments for their own benefits. Also, No VIP Culture* At my level, I acknowledge and accept your hard and sincere struggle to fetch a real change. By the blessings of Almighty Allah, you got a success. You applied your best diplomatic quality and managed to get the required number of seats in the Parliament with the help of other Political Parties Voters. I agree, such decisions has to be taken in politics to raise a Democratic Government.

As regards, to fetch betterment in the institutions, I have high hopes, your good self shall be able to do the best as announced in your Party PTI manifesto. Reference New Pakistan & Radio Pakistan, with extreme reluctance, I present before you the poor condition of Radio Pakistan, usually called The Voice of Nation. For the past FOUR years, this department has been ignored in the provision of sufficient required funds to run this precious institution. I am Khalid Asghar, former Controller-Station Director, Radio Pakistan, Lahore. (Tenure December 1999-January 2006). The funds provided by Finance Department are so meager that payment to the artists cannot be made. Mega Shows on the International and National Days cannot be organized out side the studios. The studio oriented programmes are not able to gather listeners and also cannot collect money for special and immediately projects like, Dams and others.
Along with other retired PBC Employees, I have been purchasing medicines out of pocket and there is no possibility of reimbursement. The approved chemists refused to supply medicines due to non payment of their dues. No Cancer Hospital on the panel. I place my situation before your good self: I am a patient of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (Blood Cancer). You raised Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital for the treatment of poor people. But, what can I do for treatment, when, my department has no funds for me and also other employees in service and retired.
In the end, I request your honour to please intervene to the matter for better arrangement.
Regards,
Khalid Asghar,
Former Controller/ Station Director, Radio Pakistan, Lahore.
