Section: 125
The Battle of Badr
During last section we reached up to the point that Prophet Muhammad
(PBUH) was giving hint towards the caravan that was coming from Syria
under the leadership of Abu Sufiyan. But here actually there were two plans;
one was the plan that was drawn by Abu Jahl & another plan was already
made by Almighty Allah. Abu Jahl was planning to use the misunderstanding
created among the Makkans that the Muslims will rob the caravan. This doubt
was created due to the action of Hazrat Abdullah bin Hajash (RA). He was
using this action as an excuse to wage a war against Madinah. But some of his
own people were against his plan. The prominent among them were Akhnash
bin Shareeq, Talib bin Abi Talib & many other Hashemite’s who were reluctant
in fighting with their own kith & kins. On the other hand this caravan also left
their spies in the surrounding & trying to collect all the news from camp of
Madinah Al Munawwara. That’s why when Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) left
Madinah Al Munawwara, the circumstances from the will of Almighty Allah
turn towards the war. When the leader of Caravan, Abu Sufiyan got the new of
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), he sends an urgent message to his people
Makakh. Zamzam Ghaffari was dispatched with a message that Muhammad
(PBUH) with his people came in between the route of our caravan. Therefore,
you should send forces for our rescue. On the other side, the aunt of Prophet
Muhammad (PBUH) saw a dream, Atikah bin Abdul Muttalib, dreamed that a
camel had halted near Mecca and that its rider had shouted: "Come forth, O
people, and do not leave your men to face a disaster that will come three days
hence!" Then the man had climbed a mountain and thrown down a rock,
which had shattered, spraying pieces on every building in the city. In morning
she discussed this dream with her brother, Hazrat Abbas (RA). When Hazrat
Abbas (RA) listened her sister, he said, that this is some important message
that was delivered in the form of dream. He further advised her sister not to
discuss this dream with anyone. But while Hazrat Abbas (RA) was leaving her
sister home, his friend Waleed Bin Utbah met him. He asked the reason for the
early morning visit to her sister home. On asking reason of his visit to sisters
home, Hazrat Abbas (RA) explained the complete dream & instructed him, not
to discuss with anyone in the neighborhood. Waleed bin Utba didn’t followed
the instruction of his friend & he told this dream to his father Utbah. And this
way the news of this dream spread all across the Makkah. When Hazrat Abbas
(RA) reached haram for the tawaf, he saw that Abu Jahl was sitting among the
crowd in haram & discussing about this dream.
