Chapter (60)
The first open preaching of Islam by Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) in Kaaba
Dear readers in last section we had discussed that with the permission of Prophet (PBUH), the blessing of first public preaching of Islam goes to Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA). It was Kaaba when his sermon was started the people of Makkah got agitated & they collectively attacked him. People of Banu Tamim tribe tried to rescue him but they were also attacked. This was a place where from the centuries any fight or conflict is forbidden. Even the enemies can seek the refugee in this holy sanctuary. But today the keepers of the holy sanctuary are violating the rules. At last some people from the tribes of Banu Tamim covered Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) with a cloth & rescued him from Kaaba. Apparently it seems that enemies had tortured with such brutality that no signs of the life has left with Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA). These were intentions of enemies but the Almighty Allah has planned something else on his part. In coming years, he has to offer great services for the entire community. On their part, an announcement was made by the enemies that Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) has passed away & Utbah has killed him. After some health care he regained his consciousness, the first thing asked by him was about the status of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He questioned how Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is. When people of Banu Tamim left him in an injured condition at his home, an announcement of his passing away was made. So after receiving treatment he regained his consciousness, & at the moment when he received the news that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is completely fine, he got consoled. Then most of the people left him alone & asked his mother to take care of her. His mother insisted him to take some food but he was still adamant to meet Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He said that up to the time when I would not able to see Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), I will not take a single drop of a water & morsel of food. On listening this, the mother of Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) went to see Umme Jameel Bin Khattab to ask about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Finally after some time of search, they came to know that by the grace of Almighty Allah, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is completely fine & he is resting at the home of Ibn Urqam (RA). With efforts of his mother, Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) reached the home of Ibn Urqam (RA). When Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) & companions saw the condition of Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA), they got despaired. At this time his mother Umme Rooman was also present & she requested Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to accept Islam. And on this moment she joined the faith of Islam in the presence of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
