Ghosts of K-2 …. the tick tick of clock is hitting me like an hammer …. I am not hearing any news about my friend Mr Muhammad Ali Sadpara and his two companions , they have been lost in the frozen heights of K-2 …. i am in pain …. sad and dejected but still i am hopeful and believe in miracles …. way back , when i was with K-2 , i witnessed something which was unusual …. I saw the people are coming down from a ridge and crying , they are dragging themselves and looking towards sky for marcy , they are shouting Jin …. Jin …. Jin …. after reaching Lahore i read a book ” Ghosts of K-2 ” written by Mick Conefrey depicting unusual things happening on K-2 and other high mountains …. the hero of Nanga Parbat Herman Bhol disappeared in the snows of Chogoliza and his dead body was never traced , in 1986 on K-2 , 13 mountaineers were swept away by an avalanche , the greatest Polish mountaineer Wanda disappeared on Mukalu and her dead body was never traced , in 1996 the finest British mountaineer Alison Hargreaves disappeared in the snows of K-2 and till today her dead body is not traced …. in 1997 Japanese mountaineer Hiroshima and his team disappeared near K-2 and their dead bodies were not traced …. and now …. what is this ? why it is happening like this ? the tick …. tick …. of clock is hitting me like an hammer …. my eyes are wet …. i am on my knees and praying to almighty Allah for a miracle
