A memorable book launching ceremony of Mahpara Safdar’s book “Mera Zamana, Mere Kahani’ ( میرا زمانہ، میری کہانی) was held at Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Institute, Islamabad this evening.
The literature notables of the twin cities were present in the event. Asif Khan (SZABIST) arranged the event and spoke about the book features and valuable contribution of Mahpara Safdar in 70’s and 80’s in Radio Pakistan and PTV Khabarnama.
Prof. Tahir Malik also shared his poignant remarks on her book. A journalist Asma Shehrazi talked about her affiliation and contribution to TV. Farhatullah babar also spoke in detail about her grand perosna.
It is worth mentioning that her eldest sister Talat Nayyab Zaidi also expressed her long homely association with her in the befitting manner.
Lastly, Mahpara Safdar won the hearts of the audience by reciting different chapters of her written book followed by her mesmerising poetry which was warmly appreciated by the well receptive audience.
In the end, a Question /Answer session was also held and Mahpara beautifully replied diversified questions of the audience. Moreover, the event ended with a vote of thanks to the organisers and audience by Mahpara Safdar.
