At least 14 persons including two police officers lost their lives as a result of a horrible collision between a bus and a van, and 20 sustained injuries.
The incident took place in the area of Dasht and the victims have been shifted to Civil Hospital, Quetta. Many injured are in critical condition and emergency has been declared in the hospital.
The injured, which include women and children, were rushed to Civil Hospital Quetta for treatment. Fourteen people have so far died in the incident and 30 have been injured, Waseem Baig, a spokesman for the hospital said.
The condition of six injured was said to be critical and doctors fear an increase in the number of dead. An emergency was imposed in the hospital following the incident.

Around 9,000 road accidents are reported to the police every year since 2011, killing more than 4,500 people on average, according to figures from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
