Punjab Police Inspector General (IG) Usman Anwar on Sunday announced challenging the acquittal of Dr Yasmin Rashid in Jinnah House arson case.
He said while addressing a presser in Lahore.
He said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) disseminated false propaganda on social media.
He explained that the police had sought investigation of three things from Rashid, however the court dismissed the case.
He maintained that the facts could only be established after remand.
IG announced challenging the decision of anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore High Court (LHC).
