Iran’s Defence Ministry has said a large part of the country’s missile arsenal remains unused, signalling retained military capability despite the recent conflict.

A spokesperson for the ministry, General Reza Talaei-Nik, said a “significant portion of the missile capabilities” of Iran “remains unused”, according to the semi-official Tasnim News Agency.

He also claimed Iranian forces maintained control over the skies of Israeli-held areas until the ceasefire took effect.

Iranian armed forces “maintained control over the skies of the occupied territories until the moment the ceasefire began”, he said.
