LONDON: Organized by the Pakistan Press Club International UK, the book “Kahani Baray Ghar Ki” was launched in London by a senior journalist Asma Shirazi, in which a large number of senior journalists, civil society and literary figures of London participated.
Asma Shirazi said that her book is the story of the big house that experienced in four years through a hybrid regime in the country, the consequences of which will have to suffer for years to come.
From the book “Kisa Ho Ga Naya Pakistan” to “Mujhe Yun Nikala” there is a story and document of four years when the implementation of the Constitution was sacrificed to wishes. The one-page government clamped down on freedom of expression and used every tactic to suppress voices. Asma Shirazi said that journalists are and will remain defenders of Pakistan’s ideological boundaries, the Constitution of Pakistan, and freedom of expression.
Famous poet Safdar Hamdani said that Asma Shirazi’s book is the voice of truth. Telling the truth will cost you, Asma Shirazi proves that women have manly skills and are not afraid to speak the truth.

President of Pakistan Press Club International UK Shaukat Dar said that the launch of Asma Shirazi’s book in London is a matter of honour for Pakistan Press Club. Asma Shirazi is assured that the journalists of Pakistan Press Club International are with her and will continue to support her.
Irfan Haq, the spokesperson of Pakistan Press Club International, was responsible for organizing the opening ceremony, while Senior Vice President of Pakistan Press Club International Syed Kausar Kazmi, Secretary General of Pakistan Press Club International Farid Qureshi, Azhar Javed, Taimur Iqbal, Faisal Pasha and well-known broadcasters and Writer Mahpara Safdar also expressed her opinion.
